Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse required within a private home in Chesterfield.
THE ROLE Our client is offering an ambitious and experienced RNLD a superb career opportunity to secure a long-term position and make a difference to those who suffer from Learning Disabilities. This is a medium sized home that accommodates up to 40 residents.
THE CANDIDATE As a qualified RNLD with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be involved in creating and maintaining an environment in which all residents receive a high standard of care. The successful candidate will initiate and implement new ideas, and participate in the setting and maintenance of good nursing standards in consultation with other nursing colleagues.
The successful candidate will assist, deputise and communicate to the Nurse Manager ensuring an effective daily management of the home.
Candidates will need to possess a flexible approach to your working hours and be able to complete alternated long, morning and afternoon shifts.
You will have a self motivated attitude with the desire to thrive within this unique and sometimes challenging environment.
Applicants will have knowledge of the Care Quality Commission regulations and will work in accordance with the Codes of Professional Conduct as issued by the NMC.
THE OPPORTUNITY In return, our client is offering excellent working conditions, flexible shift patterns and a good rate of pay per hour. This is a permanent, full time position which offers 40.5 hours per week.
Shift system: Long shifts 7:30am – 9pm Morning shift 7:30am – 2:30pm Afternoon shift 2.00pm to 9pm
