Registered General and Mental Health Nurses required for an elderly nursing home located in Glossop, a busy, bustling town and the largest settlement in the north-western corner of the Peak District.
THE ROLE Our client is offering a ambitious and experienced Nurse a superb career opportunity to secure a long-term position and make a difference to those around you.
Working within an elderly care home you will work alongside residents who suffer from dementia, physical disabilities and Alzheimer's. This home has the capacity to fill 34 registered beds.
THE CANDIDATE As an enthusiastic qualified Registered Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be involved in creating and maintaining an environment in which all residents receive a high standard of care. The successful candidate will initiate and implement new ideas, and participate in the setting and maintenance of good nursing standards in consultation with other nursing colleagues.
Candidates will need to possess a flexible approach to your working hours and be able to complete alternated day/night shift patterns working on a rota basis.
You will have a self motivated attitude with the desire to thrive within this unique and sometimes challenging environment.
Applicants will have knowledge of CSCI regulations and will work in accordance with the Codes of Professional Conduct as issued by the NMC.
