Job Description

They offer a friendly and progressive work atmosphere and are looking for a Nurse with COPD experience, you will be employed by the above company and contracted out initiallly to work with a PCT on a 6 months contract, though there is a possibility this could be extended.
Role:
COPD Nurse – to run COPD clinics to NICE Guidelines in the PCT. To train Practice Nurses to carry out COPD Reviews. Ability to perform spirometry. Respiratory Experience in primary care. COPD Diploma preferable. The ideal candidate will have experience and / or diploma in either Asthma or COPD.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered Nurse - Excellent understanding of the medical industry and the NHS - Previous NHS experience - Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office & Power Point - Primary or secondary healthcare experience - A diploma in either Asthma or COPD (not essential) - Good planning and organisational skills - Good teamwork and leadership qualities.
