Job Description

My client is looking for a Nurse Advisor – Richmond, Surrey. Role: Looking for a registered nurse to assist with the management and development of services for people with multiple sclerosis and set up a new service under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and the PCT. To work on a new set up within the PCT, manage a caseload of patients within primary care; delivering a high quality of care and professionalism for these patients with complex healthcare needs and assisting with the provision of disease modifying treatments and providing the necessary monitoring and support. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team including Neurologists, District Nurses and other professionals across primary care.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC - Previous NHS experience - Neurology experience desirable but a background of working alongside patients with long term / critical illnesses is essential - Good interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with patients through care pathway. - Ideally experience delivering new initiative or projects - Current eligibility to work in the UK - Full valid driving licence for UK
