The company is now actively looking for a highly motivated registered nurse to join it's friendly and experienced team. You will provide support and clinical expertise to patients and their families after surgery on their return home across the Leicester area
You will deliver the best care and provide expert advice and education to patients liaising with continuing care teams to provide continuity of care for patients from hospital to home. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with GP's, District Nurses and the PCT personnel, to whom you will provide some education and training. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining community nurse led clinics and offering GP reviews to the surgeries in your area.
To apply you should have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience with at least 1 year in a relevant specialty and the determination to progress professionally in stoma care nursing. Dynamic and forward thinking with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be flexible and able to meet the needs of the service and patients. You will also be able to work on your own initiative, manage your own workload effectively and will need a full driving licence to cover the area effectively.
