ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
The Hospital is one of Hertfordshire's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. The hospital is set in three acres of landscaped grounds in the centre of the old market town of Hitchin. The hospital has 22 single rooms and three twin-bedded rooms suitable for parent and child occupancy.
By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. The day surgery unit with 10 bed trolleys is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.
This Hospital is looking for a ward nurse with recent experience in Acute General Surgical and Medical.
Your role is to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care and to work as part of the team, supervising and directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurse and Sister in their absence.
Requirements:
- First level Nurse licensed to practice by Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- 1 year post-registration experience within a surgical or Medical environment in the UK
- Relevant post-graduate qualification/course (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
