| Job Description |
Overview of Role:
* To ensure that the highest possible standards of professional nursing practice are established and maintained.
* To provide professional leadership to the Nursing Staff.
* To ensure that the nursing resource is used flexibly and safely to provide cost efficient use of the nursing resource.
* To ensure that nursing staffing levels are adequate for safe patient care and Maintained with the necessary skills and expertise.
* To ensure that the Nursing resource is adequately trained in Customer Care and participate from time to time in Marketing initiatives.
* To ensure that the Nursing Department is in continual discussion with an relevant patient focused departments to maintain a seamless' service at all times.
* To work with clinicians to ensure robust clinical governance and audit is in place.
* To assist in the development of clinical governance, appropriate quality strategy and ultimately, accreditation.
* To participate fully as a member of the Hospital Executive Management Team.
Qualifications Required:
# First level nursing qualification (equivalent to Western qualifications).
# Graduate caliber.
# Minimum 10 years experience.
# Evidence of professional development.
# Management experience.
# Private Hospital experience. |
