Company An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly-motivated Nurse Manager to work in a Nursing Home in Gloucester. The Nursing Home was rated excellent for overall outcomes in their last CSCI inspection report. The role will suit an experienced Nurse, familiar with the 2000 Care Standards Act and Regulations, who can work to Care Quality Commission inspection standards.
Role The ideal candidate will be RN or RMN and hold the Care Managers Award, Level 4, or be willing to gain this award. They will also have a good understanding of the NMS Regulations for Older people and the CSCI requirements.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead a team of committed nursing staff and to work closely with the current proprietors, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursing home.
Candidate skills
You will have proven clinical, professional and organisational abilities, as well as excellent communication skills.
You will have two years experience in a senior management capacity within the previous five years. With excellent leadership skills, you will be self-motivated and well-organised.
You will be sensitive to the needs of others, a good communicator, able to work on your own initiative; a team player who can lead and demonstrate caring skills in the leadership of those around them.
You will be committed to your continuing professional development.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.
