www.flame-jobs.co.uk are Registered Mental Nurse to work either full time or part time hours per week (between 9am till 5pm Monday - Friday) in a large care centre that provides accommodation for young adults that have deteriorating neurological condition, acquired brain injury and genetic conditions impacting on physical disabilities, based in Taunton, Somerset
Successful applicants require:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification
- At least 3 years (or equivalent) post registration experience
- Experience working in a caring environment with similar needs
- Previous experience of working with assessment and care planning
You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere which will help residents to lead as full a life as possible and will carry out the following duties:
1. Supervising the delivery of nursing care and administration of medication, and maintaining high standards of care in a hygienic and safe environment
2. Assisting in the implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are recorded and reviewed at regular intervals
3. Organising and managing staff and identifying staff training needs
4. Offering suggestions and discussing improvements of care and services as appropriate
5. Ensuring the correct maintenance of care documentation
